The hotel is modernly decorated and offers a free breakfast. However, the location isn’t ideal and the entire second floor smelt of stale cigarette smoke. To make matters worse, when I complained to the reception about the cigarette smoke, the staff member on duty didn’t care at all.

The hotel was overall very clean. Room was good. There was no fridge, no microwave, but there was a kettle which was useful. Breakfast was good. The breakfast area was very large without ant shortage of seats. Wifi was strong. Hotel is well connected to S bahn at Berg am Laim. A little tricky to walk with bags, but one may take bus 190/191, which stops literally right at the hotel. It takes less than 30 minutes to Munich Hbf. Aldi, Rewe, and Lidl are nearby. Front staffs were all very kind, the best ones that I have seen in Germany.

Went to Munich for my Stag do and for Oktoberfest, booked rooms for 3 adults per room, hotel was clean and today and offered complimentary breakfast, no complaints. Good Location for trains into city centre. All you need for a city break to munich

The hotel comes across as quite nice but actually terrible service. They put signs up offering a free drink if you opt not to have your room cleaned…we wanted the room cleaned but they didn’t do it anyway. Called the front desk and they said housekeeping was closed so not their problem speak to them tomorrow. No clean towels, no clean cups or replacement tea or coffee. The room when we arrived was clean but the carpet was the worst I’d seen!!! Obviously no cleaning after we’d arrived. No hair dryer in room …called to ask for one…never came…went down to reception to request…woman acted like it was an obscure request and said they wouldn’t have one (they did). Overall worst hotel I’ve stayed in in Germany and worst Holiday Inn.

Hotel room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in. We booked a room for three people through TripAdvisor. The hotel put a cot in our room which was meant for two people. There was hardly any room for us to move around. Extremely tight space. Very uncomfortable. We talked to front desk to ask for a room change but was denied. Underground parking was EUR 15/night. Breakfast buffet was good. Hence the two stars. When we checked out, the front desk refused to give me a receipt for the parking fees I paid. Will not stay here again.
